Empty templates basically make it so that these sims do not spawn, and allow you to generate your own townies or even make your own! Especially useful if you have replacements for the face templates and want your townies to actually have those templates instead of the old maxis ones!Īnyways, these are just a few of the mods I have - my downloads folder is chock full, haha. With this, I'm definitely less afraid to stray from the 1st face template that everyone seems to go to when trying to make a pretty sim.Ĭommunity Time Project - This mod makes it so that when your sims leave their house for a community lot, spend 2 hours on that lot, and then come back home, they will come back 2 hours later! I hated that sims could spend an entire day at a community lot and then come back home the same time they had left - this makes managing their time a little harder!Įmpty Neighborhoods - Ever notice that when you create a new neighborhood you always get the same sims? GunMod's Radiance Lighting - This has made my game SO much prettier, I absolutely love this mod to pieces. This has definitely created some pretty interesting situations in my neighborhoods. Sims no longer have to be in love to woohoo (because we all know how that's not how things go in the real world ) ). It introduces risky woohoo, so you get the added chance of having an "oopsie" baby.

:) (One of the better things about Sims 2 though is that it's still a playable game without mods)ĪCR (Autonomous Casual Romance) - This makes Sims more likely to engage in romantic interactions of their own free will based up chemistry scores, and they can even woohoo and try for baby on their own. Since so many people are getting back into Sims 2 now with the release of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, I'd thought it be nice to have some where that people could share mods and CC that have helped make their game play a lot more fun and interesting.
